Measure out 1 Quart (32 oz) of RO water. You can pour it into something larger if necessary such as this cut open gallon water bottle from the market. You can purchase a gallon jug of RO water usually for 99cents, use the water as well as the container for mixing or as storage.
Cut open the Silicate 7.8 bag all the way across the top.
Pinch the top of the bag a little and place it in the water to avoid creating airborne dust.
Mix for a couple minutes to fully dissolve the silicate before bottling.
There are many 32 oz bottles that can be used for storage the most economical are the 99 cent Rite Aid hydrogen peroxide bottles. They are also light tight which is nice for storing other plant products in as well. Remember to label the bottle with a Sharpe or you may also request our Silicate 7.8 label separate from the bag when ordering and place it on yourself.
